THE PIECE THAT MAKES THE WHOLE SETUP LOOK EXPENSIVE
Ramme is the upgrade you notice in photographs — a dark walnut deck under the monitor pulls the entire desk together the way a rug does a room. The wood is thick enough that the top edge reads as a slab rather than a panel, and the colour sits beautifully against both black and aluminium hardware. Functionally it does what every riser does; visually it is the reason the rest of your desk suddenly looks considered. Setups get photographed because of pieces like this one.
WHY IT EARNS ITS SPACE ON YOUR DESK
- Presents a thick walnut edge — so the deck reads as a solid slab rather than as a laminated panel.
- Anchors the colour of the whole setup — giving black and aluminium hardware something warm to sit against.
- Carries a large monitor without dishing — because the deck thickness does the structural work, not a hidden brace.
- Leaves a deep clear bay underneath — swallowing a full-size keyboard rather than only a compact one.
- Comes finished and ready — with the grain sealed so the colour deepens rather than greying with sunlight.
