CABLE MANAGEMENT THAT IS NOT MADE OF BLACK PLASTIC
Every other cable solution on a desk is black plastic, which is fine until you have five of them visible on a wooden desk. Rot does the same job in a solid wood block that reads as part of the setup rather than as an accessory bolted onto it. Cut slots hold several leads at the desk edge at the spacing you need, and the mass is enough that pulling a cable does not drag the dock along with it. It is the version that belongs on a desk you chose carefully.
WHY IT EARNS ITS SPACE ON YOUR DESK
- Does the job in solid wood — so cable management stops being the one piece of black plastic on a wooden desk.
- Holds several leads in cut slots — keeping the charger, headphone and monitor cables separated rather than bundled.
- Weighs enough to resist a pull — so unplugging a cable does not drag the dock off the desk with it.
- Grips through a non-slip base — which stays put on both bare wood and a desk mat.
- Needs no adhesive or fixings — so nothing is left behind when you move the desk around.
