- Premium Build Quality — solid materials, square joints and hardware that does not loosen.
- 100% Satisfaction Guarantee — 30 days to live with it, or we make it right.
- Retro profiles are cut from thicker stock than the rest of the range, and that thickness limits how many pieces each board yields!
BUILT THICK, LIKE DESK THINGS USED TO BE
Stam is noticeably heavier in the hand than it looks in a photograph, because the walls are cut from thick stock rather than thin panel. That mass is functional: you can pull a crowded handful of pens out of it without the other hand holding it down. The proportions borrow from mid-century desk sets, which is why it suits a wooden desk better than anything moulded. Buy it once and it outlives the desk it is sitting on.
WHY IT EARNS ITS SPACE ON YOUR DESK
- Cuts the walls from thick solid stock — so the caddy has the mass to stay put under a hard one-handed grab.
- Rounds every edge and corner — which keeps a forearm resting against it comfortable through a long session.
- Finishes in penetrating oil, not surface lacquer — so a deep scratch sands out instead of leaving a white line in the film.
- Divides into deep and shallow wells — keeping tall pens upright while erasers and clips stay reachable.
- Needs no assembly at all — arriving as one solid piece with nothing to loosen over the years.
